Please Note: On this site we prefer to use the actual Name of
our loving Heavenly Father as it was written in the Hebrew and thus you will
note that we will use the four letter “Memorial Name”
of 
- YHVH, which
is pronounced as YaHVaH or YaHWaH, also we
will use our Heavenly Father’s title - “Elohim”
rather than “God” and we need to remember that “Elohim”
(God) is NOT a name but an attribute, a title! In addition we also love to use
the actual Name of our beloved “Messiah” (written in Hebrew as
“Mashiach” and in Greek as “
- Yahushua (Yeshua in
short) for this is the Messiah’s original Hebrew Name as given to Him in
The three levels of learning & understanding
of the blessed Word of
When we read and study the blessed Scriptures, the Word of YHVH
Elohim as a believer in Yahushua the Messiah, we should keep following three
steps always in mind for they are a valuable guide and it will certainly
provide us with guidance and illuminate the sheer beauty and the fullness of
YHVH’s most blessed Word.
1. Who was YHVH
Elohim, blessed be His Holy Name speaking to?
2. When was it
said?
3. How was His
Word understood at the time it was spoken/given?
I do believe that these three points are most relevant to
our understanding of 1. What the Almighty is saying
at the time – 2. As well as what it means to us today - and 3. Especially
to you and me right now!

Take the helmet of
salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of Elohim.”
Ephesians 6:11-17
“For YHVH watches over the way of the righteous, but
the way of the wicked will perish”
Tehillim - Psalm 1:6
Beloved, I wish to share this simple, but special exhortation with you. I
shared it at a home fellowship on the Central Queensland Sapphire fields in
1983. I pray that its simplicity will bless you, as we come closer into the
TRUTH of the Word of Elohim!
“Be diligent to present yourself approved of Elohim (God), a workman does not have to be
ashamed, who correctly handles the Word of truth. Shun profane and idle (vain) babblings, for they will
increase to more ungodliness. Their teaching will spread like gangrene. Among
them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, who have wandered away from the truth. They
say that the resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the faith
of some. Nevertheless, Elohim’s solid foundation stands firm, sealed with
this inscription: Adonai (Kurios-Lord)
knows those who are His, and, everyone who confesses the Name of Adonai (speaking of Yahushua THE Messiah)
abstains from wickedness.’” 2
On that wonderful day, when we came to know
YHVH Elohim, as the ONE true Elohim, the Creator of heaven and earth, and all
that is therein, and that day when in the Name of Messiah Yahushua and we
repented of our sins, we also decided to walk in complete faith, and obey and
follow the Word of
our beloved Elohim!
As we follow the ways of Elohim, blessed be
He, we received that specific call to be “workman”
who need “not to be
ashamed,” and must “handle
accurately the Word of TRUTH!”
What wondrous words of encouragement the
Almighty gives His beloved saints!
Each day, as we read the Word
of the Almighty in our homes and at our Sabbath fellowships, we do this to
further our understanding of His Word and His TRUTH, in order that we might “present ourselves approved of Elohim.”
Even before we entered the “Mikvah” (the waters of immersion) in obedience to the Word, we searched
out THE Word, in order that we could separate the “vain babblings” that originate from the pagan roman
church who have defiled the Word of Elohim! 2
“But shun profane and idle (vain) babblings, for they will
increase to more ungodliness.”
We who have through faith
and lovingly and prayerfully read and studied the Word, we have “separated” ourselves and
have become Elohim’s “workman
and workers,” and good soldiers in Messiah! “Put on the full armour of Elohim,
that you may take your stand against the schemes of those who oppose
Elohim.” Ephesians 6:11. *(NMV).
“Those who do not believe,
the faithful must gently and lovingly instruct, in the hope that Elohim will
grant them atonement leading them to the knowledge of the TRUTH.” 2
Blessed is YaHVaH our
Elohim, blessed be His Sanctified Name, and His “workman do not have to be ashamed,” and we, the
faithful in Messiah Yahushua, the true and only Messiah, must always “correctly handle the Word of TRUTH.”
Let us briefly look at
Hebrews chapter 13.
“Let your conversation (or character) be without
covetousness; and be content with such things as you have: for he (Yahushua THE Messiah) has said, I
will never leave you, nor forsake you. So that we may boldly say, Adonai (the Lord) is my helper, and I will
not fear what man shall do unto me.” Verses 5-6 … and …
“Therefore by him let us
continually offer the sacrifice of praise to Elohim, that is, the fruit of our
lips, giving thanks to His (YHVH’s)
Name.” Verse 15.
We, who have come into
that special relationship with the Elohim of Israel, have come to
“KNOW,” and “BELIEVE” that we must follow the Word of TRUTH and be doers of the Word!
The book of Tehillim
(Psalms) makes it quite clear, that even king
“I (YHVH Elohim) will instruct you and teach you in the way you should
go; I will counsel you and watch over you.” Tehillim - Psalm 32:8.
“You guide me with your
counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory.” Tehillim - Psalm
73:24.
“Teach me your way, O YHVH;
lead me in a straight path because of my oppressors.” Tehillim - Psalm
27:11.
Indeed,
“Be
diligent to present yourself approved of Elohim (God), a workman does not have to be ashamed, who correctly
handles the Word of Truth.”
Beloved, we are exhorted
to be both workman in the Lord, but also soldiers in His service, for indeed we
are at war with an evil enemy, not with men, but the evil one! Thus we are to
go forth and share the word like a soldier in Yahushua spiritually clothes as
follows!
“Put on the full armour of
Elohim (God) so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers,
against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the
spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full
armour of Elohim, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand
your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then,
with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of
righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes
from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith,
with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the
helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of
Elohim.” Ephesians 6:11-17.
Those in the true faith
are brethren, brothers, and sisters in the TRUTH! For ONLY in the Word of
TRUTH, can we be “brethren
dwelling together in UNITY!” (Tehillim - Psalm 133:1). Even though
“we are many (both Hebrews and
those who were once Gentiles - strangers) we are now ONE in Messiah.” (Romans 12:5), neither
Jew or Greek!
Sadly, we live in a world that surrounds us
with darkness of self and evil. Many deny there is even an Elohim, a
“God,” and then there is a Christian world that has been seduced by
those who claim to know Messiah, but do not “endure sound doctrine.” (2
“Teach the Word …
convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 2
“And a servant of Adonai (the Lord) must not quarrel but be
gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility correcting those who are in
opposition, if Elohim perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know
the truth.” 2
“But you must continue in
the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you
have learned them.” 2
“All Scripture is given by
inspiration of Elohim and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for
correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of Elohim may be
complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2
I pray this short study has challenged you,
to come into the blessed truth of knowing Yahushua who is THE Messiah, YaHVaH,
being the Memorial Name of Elohim (God) and to uphold His Word, but more so for
those who love the Messiah Yahushua to GO forth in “unity,” being “workman” and soldiers of
Elohim, standing “approved”
with YaHVaH at all times, furthering the Word of TRUTH, which is “the fruit of our lips!”
