Ha Davar is Hebrew for "The Word"

--Sharing our Lord and Saviour Yahushua, Yeshua the Messiah to the World!--

Please Note: On this site we prefer to use the actual Name of our loving Heavenly Father as it was written in the Hebrew and thus you will note that we will use the four letter “Memorial Name” of   - YHVH, which is pronounced as YaHVaH or YaHWaH, also we will use our Heavenly Father’s tile - Elohim” rather than “God” and we need to remember that “Elohim” (God) is NOT a name but an attribute, a title! In addition we also love to use the actual Name of our beloved “Messiah” (written in Hebrew as “Mashiach” and in Greek as “Christos”), which is  - Yahushua (Yeshua in short) for this is the Messiah’s original Hebrew Name as given to Him in Luke 1:31. This was the only Name ever used when He was on the earth by His disciples and His followers for hundreds of years thereafter. However it was changed to a foreign name by the new church, which later became known as “the greater Roman catholic church.” Occasionally, we may also use other Hebrew or Greek names and words in our studies, but these will be translated when they are used, either the first time in a study or at various times as needed for clarity. For an explanation of YHVH’s most Holy and blessed “Memorial Name” and the wonderful Name of our Messiah: Please readThe Memorial Name.

May “Elohim (God) … fill you with the knowledge of His will, through all spiritual wisdom and understanding … that you may live a life worthy and please Him in every way, bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of Elohim” Colossians 1: 9-19.

The three levels of learning & understanding of the blessed Word of YHVH Elohim (the Lord God):

When we read and study the blessed Scriptures, the Word of YHVH Elohim as a believer in Yahushua the Messiah, we should keep following three steps in always mind for they are a valuable guide and it will certainly provide us with guidance and illuminate the sheer beauty and the fullness of YHVH’s most blessed Word.

1. Who was YHVH Elohim, blessed be His Holy Name speaking to?

2. When was it said?

3. How was His Word understood at the time it was spoken/given?

I do believe that these three points are most relevant to our understanding of 1. What the Almighty is saying at the time - 2. As well as what it means to us today - and 3.  Indeed to you and me right now!

--Yirmyahu - Jeremiah--

YHVH’s Man for a Weak Nation

A Special Introduction:

Beloved, this study contains some amazing revelations and by the end you will be amazed with what you will have learned through the lessons contained in this powerful study. However, along the way there will be certain things that may prove to be challenging and you may even wish to stop reading at certain times, but I recommend that you continue and allow the Ruach HaKodesh that is the Holy Spirit lead the way and the Word speak for itself! I am well aware that I can be rather to the point at times, for I am passionate about the blessed Word of YHVH Elohim (the LORD God). But, believe me everything is based directly on the Hebrew and Greek Scriptures, not on opinion, no, it must be on the Word of YHVH Elohim for only that is what matters! Thus please be patient and read on until the end, for I believe, in the blessed Name of Yahushua the Messiah, that you will be richly blessed!

You may ask, what are some of these challenging points? Obviously the greater church has had a long history that goes back to the days of what many call the days of error and confusion, during the days of Emperor Constantine and the church of Rome and the sons and daughter churches who eventually rejected some of the pagan roman doctrines. Although that was a step forward, it was a tragedy that all held onto many parts of their false doctrines as well as their pagan festivals, that originated a thousand or more years before our Lord and Saviour walked on the earth.

Mind you, sadly the Hebrews suffered very much in the same way even before our Lord and Saviour came, for the priests and rabbis compiled what is generally known as the “Oral Law”, which in reality is just a man made law, and when Yahushua was on the earth He despised it and He broke these laws as did the disciples and they clearly spoke out against them. Although the church confuse these man made oral laws from the “Talmud” with the Laws as given by our beloved creator, YHVH Elohim in the “Torah,” although all the sacrificial and many other laws have now ended as our Saviour has fulfilled these, but NOT the 10 Commandments and I do mean all TEN.

In Christendom, sadly it also has countless traditions of man just like Israel and tragically men hate change, Israel will fight tooth and nail to hold on to their “Oral law” as being genuine, just like the church does with so many doctrines, including calling our beloved Messiah Yahushua by a name that is not a name at all - “Jesus.” In addition they celebrate pagan feasts that have a smattering of Christianity in them, but believe me there is far more errors and paganism in them than our Lord and Saviours names alone but also the dates of these two feats should tell you the facts. But who is looking? These two festivals are related to the pagan god’s of the sun and the winter solstice, etc. The Tenach (Old Testament) very clearly speaks about these pagan feasts, yet the Roman church just added the “Jesus” story to them and celebrate them, but do so against Almighty's will. There are studies regarding these online. Thus, beloved, I have prepared you somewhat for as it was in the time of Yirmyahu – Jeremiah so it is again today, for sadly nothing much has changed.

Now we will commence what I believe to be what I consider as one of the most remarkable and powerful studies that the Father has ever given me, and it all started when I was away in solitude in a little faraway town called Adelong in New South Wales, Australia!

Elder/Teacher – Reuben ben Gershom.

Part One - The Book

In this study of the Word of Elohim (God), we are going to look at the heart of a big book, the book of Yirmyahu - Jeremiah. I firmly believe that this book is scripturally alive and contains a never-ending source of valuable teaching. As we study the man and the Word, which YaHVaH Elohim gave him, may we be renewed with a desire to read and study more of Yirmyahu in the future!

Whilst in prayerful preparation for this study, the words of Shaul of Tarsus (Paul) came to my mind.

Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that you do be done with love.” 1 Corinthians 16:13-14.

Yirmyahu - Jeremiah certainly fits this description, a man who was brave, strong and who stood fast in his faith. It is important that we the faithful in Yahushua (Yahshua/Jesus) also stand fast and hold onto our “profession of faith without wavering.” As we study Yirmyahu, we will come to realise that this strong man of Elohim is also a “prophet of hope and love.”

Should you contemplate a study of Yirmyahu - Jeremiah, you will understand that this is a really big book for it has 52 powerful chapters. Reading and studying one chapter per week means that it will take you a whole year to complete it. You might say, “But brother, I can easily read one chapter per day.” That may be so. However, to take time studying this book will provide you with some remarkable and spiritually uplifting results. For there is so much beauty in this book than most of the faithful are sadly not aware of!

I am well aware that Yirmyahu, the prophet Jeremiah is not one of the most read books in blessed Scriptures, for many tend to find it rather sombre and yes I have been told, even a boring book. It has been said, that there is also great deal of repetition in Yirmyahu, and that it is difficult book to read. Whilst others simply do not understand it, as it contains collection of prophecies and events, and what makes it even more difficult, that these may not necessarily be compiled in a chronological order. All of these things may be true. However, as we will discover, there is a powerful reason for all this.

Be assured Yirmyahu - Jeremiah is a fascinating book that contains many wonderful revelations, and it is packed with many blessed revelations that is not always realised upon general reading, for it takes a little more than just a read, but, like everything we do in the Lord, it requires prayer and study, and then there can be such wonderful revelations!

Beloved, Yirmyahu it is a book that is very much needed today! In fact, as you read this book, it almost seems like reading our daily newspaper, for the events that happened so long ago are happening once again in these “the latter days.” I pray beloved that you will be richly blessed by this study!

Introduction: “Baruch.”

As we commence this study, it should be noted that Yirmyahu - Jeremiah had a faithful man at his side. His name was “Baruch,” and from the Hebrew it means, “bless” or “blessed.” Baruch was a faithful friend and scribe as shown in chapters 32:12-16 and 36:1-32. He came from a prominent Judean family and was the son of Neriah. In the fourth year of the reign of Yehoiakim, king of Judah in approximately 605 BC, Baruch recorded the prophecies regarding the destruction of Jerusalem, as Yirmyahu had dictated them to him. He wrote them on parchment scrolls and consequently had read them to the people. He delivered the Word in the Temple in 605 BC and once again the following year. He also gave the king's counsellors a private reading.

Yehoiakim, the king took the scroll and in great anger he tore it into pieces and tossed it into the fire. He then ordered that Yirmyahu and Baruch were to be arrested. However, YHVH Elohim, blessed be His Holy Name, kept them safe as they were nowhere to be found. In the meantime whilst away Baruch wrote a new scroll containing all that was in the former scroll and also further new prophecies relating to the ruin of the king and his house, as per chapter 36. Sadly as Baruch was writing, he became rather fearful of the detail that was contained in this scroll. YHVH Elohim, blessed be His Holy Name, gave Baruch the assurance that he would be spared from the calamities that would to befall Judah.

“The word that Yirmyahu - Jeremiah the prophet spoke to Baruch the son of Neriah, when he had written these words in a book at the instruction of Yirmyahu - Jeremiah, in the fourth year of Yehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, saying. ‘Thus says YHVH, the Elohim of Israel, to you. O Baruch: You said, ‘Woe is me now! For YHVH has added grief to my sorrow. I fainted in my sighing, and I find no rest.’ Thus you shall say to him, ‘Thus says YHVH: Behold, what I have built I will break down, and what I have planted I will pluck up, that is, this whole land. And do you seek great things for yourself? Do not seek them; for behold, I will bring adversity on all flesh,’ says YHVH. ‘But I will give your life to you as a prize in all places, wherever you go’” chapter 45.

During the siege of Jerusalem, Yirmyahu - Jeremiah purchased Hanamel’s field in Anathoth and deposited the deed with Baruch, (chapter 32:12). Baruch was accused of influencing Yirmyahu - Jeremiah in favour of the Chaldeans, (chapter 43:3 - also see 37:13), and he was duly thrown into prison with Yirmyahu - Jeremiah where they remained until the capture of Jerusalem. By the permission of Nebuchadnezzar, he was allowed to live with Yirmyahu - Jeremiah at Mizpah but later he and Yirmyahu - Jeremiah were forced to go to Egypt, (chapter 43:6-7). Nothing for certain is known in relation to the end of his life. According to Hebrew tradition, Baruch went to Babylon upon the death of Yirmyahu - Jeremiah and died there twelve years after the destruction of Jerusalem. The Apocrypha contains further works by Baruch written whilst in Babylon.

As supported by the Word, YHVH, blessed be His Holy Name, frequently uses two servants working together to proclaim His Word, just as it was with the apostles and later Paul and Timothy. So it will be again during the first 1,260 days of “Great Tribulation” when the YHVH Elohim, blessed be He, will have the “Two Witnesses” speak and prophesy to a world lost.

“And he (Yahushua, Yeshua) called the twelve to Himself, and began to send them out two by two, and gave them power over unclean spirits” Markus - Mark 6:7.

“And I will give power to My two witnesses and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth” Revelation 11:3.

In part two we will study, Yirmyahu - Jeremiah the man.

Part Two - Yirmyahu the Man

Yirmyahu - Jeremiah was born in the village of Anathoth in the land of Benjamin that is approximately seven kilometres northeast from Jerusalem. He was the son of the priest Hilkiah. However, it is believed by many that Yirmyahu’s father Hilkiah was the high priest, however I can clearly state that he was not the high priest mentioned in 2 Kings 22 & 23, as Yirmyahu - Jeremiah 1:1 states that he was of the priests that were in Anathoth.” Thus if Hilkiah was indeed the same priest as mentioned in 2 Kings, Yirmyahu would have called him by his official status as the “high priest” and not just “of the priests.”

As we begin to study this very special prophet, we will realise that Yirmyahu is very unique among the prophets of the Tenach (the Old Testament). The fact is we know a great deal more about his life than what we know about any other prophet in the Word. Other prophets delivered their oracles without disclosing very much of their inner-selves. On the other hand, Yirmyahu very much laid bare the emotional conflicts of a man who was chosen to be a spokesman of YHVH Elohim for his special time of life.

We know that he suffered both physically and emotionally as he spent a night in the stocks and was cast into a dungeon and he was imprisoned on a number of occasions. He even experienced a plot against his life by the people of his own village. He was ostracised by priests, prophets, civil authorities, as well as the majority of the population for most of his prophetic life. No wonder then, that Yirmyahu bewails his fate for he has no desire to be the harbinger of evil, but he simply had to, and so thus he lamented his lot.

“Woe is me, my mother, that you have borne me, a man of strife and a man of contention to the whole earth! I have neither lent for interest, nor have men lent to me for interest. Every one of them curses me” Chapter 15:10.

Yirmyahu - Jeremiah, much like Moshe - Moses, sought to escape from the call upon his life. He felt that he was too young for the job, which YHVH called him to do. YHVH assured him that He would strengthen, guide and protect him in his ministry.

“For behold, I have made you this day a fortified city and an iron pillar, and bronze walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against its princes, against its priests, and against the people of the land. They will fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you. For I am with you,’ says YHVH, ‘to deliver you’” chapter 1:18-19.

YHVH Elohim, blessed be His Holy Name, knows the heart of those He calls into service and thus He chose this sixteen-year-old youth to be His voice, speaking out against the evil leaders in Jerusalem and throughout Judah.

What then is the message of Yirmyahu and also that of the prophet of Malachi? Simply this, Elohim, blessed be He, calls His people to …

“Return again unto Me and I will Return unto you.” Malachi 3:7.

He calls His people to return, to repent and to be whole and strong in Him. YHVH Elohim (the LORD God) also speaks to us through Yirmyahu - Jeremiah, for He wishes us to listen and to understand Him. He desires to build the faithful in Him and make us strong, for Elohim desires a strong Ekklesia/Fellowship, a strong Body, strong servants, a people bold enough to stand up for the TRUTH of His Word, and strong enough to out and share the Word and message about our Lord and Saviour Yahushua THE Messiah!

We are to go out with the boldness of Yirmyahu and “Proclaim the Word of Elohim … in Spirit and in TRUTH,” even in the face of danger. Friends, we must let our faith in Elohim override our flesh, for He requires from us Faith, Love, Loyalty and Service! Yirmyahu, as we will learn from this study, was such a man. However, he was also “a man just like us.” This was said of Eliyahu - Elijah by Ya’akov - James who stated,

“Eliyahu - Elijah was a man with a nature like ours,” Ya’akov - James 5:17.

This simply meant that Eliyahu - Elijah, like Yeshayahu - Isaiah and Yirmyahu - Jeremiah, were all men that had the same shortcomings, which we all have. They felt neither worthy nor fit for the task, however YHVH our Elohim, blessed be His Holy Name, does not necessarily choose those that are fit for the job – No He does not, for He fits them for it. We might well feel that we are not able or capable, but praise Him, HE IS!

Indeed Yirmyahu was YaHVaH’s man for a weak nation, a nation that was weak spiritually and morally. Thus, Elohim sent Yirmyahu to Judah, a people who at the time did not deserve YHVH’s love. When reading the Word of Elohim, especially the Book of Shemos - Exodus, we will realise that when Israel was still in bondage in Egypt a large proportion of the Israelites had sadly turned to other god’s and thus had forgotten the Elohim of their fathers Avraham, Yitzchak and Ya’akov (Abraham, Isaac and Jacob).

It was only due to Israel’s great pain of enslavement that “Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto Elohim by reason of the bondage” (Exodus 2:23). Although Israel did not cry out to Elohim, but YHVH Elohim heard them and He remembered His people. For so great is His love and He also remembers and will NEVER forget or alter His promises! Baruch YHVH Elohim – Bless YHVH our Elohim! However, thank be to the Lord, there were still those who had remained in faith such as Moshe’s family and those around about, etc.

In the days of Yirmyahu the people of Israel were once again rebellious and again they were serving other gods. Had they not learned? However, this time they were not in Egypt but in the Land that YHVH Elohim had given them, the Promised Land! Whilst Israel was in the wilderness, YHVH, blessed be He, provided them with sustenance. Then under the leadership of Yahushua - Joshua they finally entered the land with great rejoicing. But, after finally settling in the land they soon forgot that Elohim who in the wilderness provided them with their food and all their needs and safety. But now all settled in the land, the people filled with their pride they began to believe that it was they themselves who were the great providers, “For did we not plant own crops and tend to our fields?” Thus Elohim did not really provide it. “We did it ourselves” that was the feeling of many. Sadly they had forgotten that YHVH Elohim is the provider of everything, including the rains of blessing. Although Israel did not deserve the love of the Almighty, yet He showed His love in spite of Israel’s terrible sins and thus He sent His prophet Yirmyahu - Jeremiah to deliver His Word and that was a great sign of His never ending Love! But, we need to remember that if the warning is not heeded, there are consequences!

As I have already stated, many believers see “Jeremiah as a doom and gloom man.” This is the most common perception of him and sadly, this is the main reason why so few wish to identify with, or even read the book of Yirmyahu - Jeremiah.

The Word of Elohim (God) never fails if we listen to those He anoints. Praise YHVH Elohim that the Word spoken by Yirmyahu - Jeremiah to Judah still applies today.

Yirmyahu was certainly not a doom and gloom man for throughout his book you will find so many glimpses of hope and wonderful gleams of dawn. Friends, there are indeed gleams of dawn, hope and above all LOVE in Yirmyahu - Jeremiah.

It was once asked of me at a service, “Show me where Jeremiah is a prophet of hope and love?” The answer in reality is so very simple, thus I said, “Beloved the very fact that YaHVaH Elohim was still speaking to His people considering they had turned their backs on Him, means there is Hope and that YaHVaH Elohim loves them!”

Indeed the words He speaks may seem harsh at times and the truth is that the Almighty has to warn His people, and thus Yirmyahu had to say “They prophesy a lie to you.” Or say to the priests and false prophets, “you are liars and you are false prophets.” Yet, in spite of these harsh words, the point is, YHVH Elohim was still speaking to His people. Only when Elohim stops speaking all hope is gone, for then Elohim will have washed His hands and given up completely on His people.

Thus the very fact that Yirmyahu continued to speak the Word of Elohim, right up to the destruction of Jerusalem for twenty-three years shows Elohim’s love for His people. In fact, it was some forty years from when Yirmyahu received the first Word from Elohim in 627 BC, being the 13th.year of the reign of King Josiah, to the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple in 587 BC, and knowing the meaning of the number 40 from my other studies, this proved that this was a time of testing. The people of Judah had the opportunity to return to their Elohim and forsake the worship of the pagan god’s, but sadly as we know the call was not heeded to!

Did you realise that YaHVaH Elohim, blessed be His Holy Name, had not spoken to the nation for a long seventy years up until the arrival of Jeremiah? Thus, all this time there had been no prophet proclaiming of the Word of Elohim in the land, and there had only been the priests and far too many false prophets.

When this young man, appointed by Elohim, began to speak, the drought, the total famine of YaHVaH’s Word had finally ceased. Is it not amazing how YaHVaH Elohim (the LORD God), blessed be His Holy Name, at times chooses young men? Sometimes older men are far too set in their ways, thus when Elohim wishes to speak, He makes a clean sweep and chooses a young man.

As we continue to ponder on Yirmyahu we must marvel at this man’s undying faith and his endurance in His Elohim. Yirmyahu continued to proclaim the Word of Elohim, but sadly most people, especially the priests and prophets of the day simply would not listen nor heed to Elohim’s call. Year after year Yirmyahu faithfully called on the people of Israel to “return to Elohim” but without much success.

I pray beloved that we are as strong as this man in YHVH and continue to go forth and share His Word of hope and salvation, even if we do not see the results of the seeds sown. The good news is however that some of the seeds that we sow will take root and they will be fruitful, for our Elohim is in control and He will nurture individual hearts. HalleluYAH!

“Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labour is not in vain in the Lord” 1 Corinthians 15:58.

Part Three - The Reign of Yehoiakim

We will now turn to the two chapters of Yirmyahu - Jeremiah that I have especially chosen for this rather special study. The reason these two chapters were chosen is that they are the very much the least known chapters in the whole of the Word of YHVH Elohim (the LORD God). I am speaking of chapters 25 and 26 in the Book of Yirmyahu - Jeremiah.

The question arises, how many have actually read and seriously studied these chapters? Amazingly, to date I have not found one person, including pastors/ministers who have been able to quote a single verse or any kind of detail contained within these wonderful chapters. And yet, I believe that these are some of the most amazing and remarkable chapters you will ever find, for within them is a massive prophetic revelation! I am sure that when you will have finished this study, you will realise how powerful these chapters really are!

There is no doubt these are very rather Hebraic writings and it does give me an understanding of certain aspects, that may have not been understood by the Church in general due to their lack of Hebrew, and even though there are those who claim to know Hebrew, they will not have a Hebrew understanding of the Word, thus they will never really understand its fuller and far richer meaning contained in the Word! However, when I have revealed a certain aspects of these chapters – pastors, ministers and the faithful have been richly blessed by what they had just learned. Yet, parts of it are common knowledge to Israel, but certain parts are sadly not understood, due to “their blindness in part”!

I can tell you that after I came into faith in 1977 and became a Messianic believer, that YHVH Elohim revealed the wonderful fullness and the blessings of His Word and prophecy contained in these two chapters. Then finally the fullness of His revelations contained in Yirmyahu - Jeremiah 25 and 26 was finally understood, and I had not as a Hebrew, for there ware parts that were missing then, for I was blinded until I came to know Yahushua as my Saviour!

Yet, sadly the Book of Yirmyahu - Jeremiah is greatly neglected by the faithful and the greater Church for most feel that the book is just too negative, and thus I hear so many “Christians” say regarding Yirmyahu - Jeremiah, “Is God not the God of love?” How tragic for those who think and speak this utter rot, for they simply do not understand the character of the Almighty, who is the Creator of heaven and earth. They miss out on so many blessings from the Elohim of love in these writings, for it is in these neglected areas of the Word where you will discover revelations containing a powerful and a wonderful and an uplifting and a loving message!

I pray that after this study you will remember many of the blessed features in these two wonderful chapters in the book of YHVH’s faithful servant – Yirmyahu - Jeremiah!.

WE will read Chapter 25 verse 1 and then all of whole of chapter 26.

Chapter 25 - verse 1.

“The word came to Yirmyahu - Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah in the fourth year of Yehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah, which was the first year of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon.”

Chapter 26 - verses 1-24.

“Early in the reign of Yehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah, this word came from YHVH: “This is what YHVH says: Stand in the courtyard of YHVH's house and speak to all the people of the towns of Judah who come to worship in the house of YHVH. Tell them everything I command you; do not omit a word. Perhaps they will listen and each will turn from his evil way. Then I will relent and not bring on them the disaster I was planning because of the evil they have done. Say to them, ‘This is what YHVH says: If you do not listen to me and follow my law, which I have set before you, and if you do not listen to the words of my servants the prophets, whom I have sent to you again and again (though you have not listened), then I will make this house like Shiloh and this city an object of cursing among all the nations of the earth.’

The priests, the prophets and all the people heard Yirmyahu - Jeremiah speak these words in the house of YHVH. But as soon as Yirmyahu - Jeremiah finished telling all the people everything YHVH had commanded him to say, the priests, the prophets and all the people seized him and said, “You must die! Why do you prophesy in YHVH's name that this house will be like Shiloh and this city will be desolate and deserted?” And all the people crowded around Yirmyahu - Jeremiah in the house of YHVH. When the officials of Judah heard about these things, they went up from the royal palace to the house of YHVH and took their places at the entrance of the New Gate of YHVH's house. Then the priests and the prophets said to the officials and all the people, “This man should be sentenced to death because he has prophesied against this city. You have heard it with your own ears!” Then Yirmyahu - Jeremiah said to all the officials and all the people: “YHVH sent me to prophesy against this house and this city all the things you have heard. Now reform your ways and your actions and obey YHVH your Elohim. Then YHVH will relent and not bring the disaster he has pronounced against you. As for me, I am in your hands; do with me whatever you think is good and right. Be assured, however, that if you put me to death, you will bring the guilt of innocent blood on yourselves and on this city and on those who live in it, for in truth YHVH has sent me to you to speak all these words in your hearing.”

Then the officials and all the people said to the priests and the prophets, “This man should not be sentenced to death! He has spoken to us in the name of YHVH our Elohim.” Some of the elders of the land stepped forward and said to the entire assembly of people, “Micah of Moresheth prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah. He told all the people of Judah, “This is what YHVH Almighty says: ‘Zion will be ploughed like a field; Jerusalem will become a heap of rubble, the temple hill a mound overgrown with thickets.’ Did Hezekiah king of Judah or anyone else in Judah put him to death? Did not Hezekiah fear YHVH and seek his favour? And did not YHVH relent, so that he did not bring the disaster he pronounced against them? We are about to bring a terrible disaster on ourselves!”

Now Uriah son of Shemaiah from Kiriath Jearim was another man who prophesied in the name of YHVH; he prophesied the same things against this city and this land as Yirmyahu - Jeremiah did. When King Yehoiakim and all his officers and officials heard his words, the king sought to put him to death. But Uriah heard of it and fled in fear to Egypt. King Yehoiakim, however, sent Elnathan son of Acbor to Egypt, along with some other men. They brought Uriah out of Egypt and took him to King Yehoiakim, who had him struck down with a sword and his body thrown into the burial place of the common people. Furthermore, Ahikam son of Shaphan supported Yirmyahu - Jeremiah, and so he was not handed over to the people to be put to death.”

Beloved, we are obviously dealing with a little known Scripture. However, I pray that soon you will have a new understanding of Yirmyahu and what YHVH Elohim is saying to us and to you personally in particular today!

These chapters may not contain many quotable quotes and there are few remembered details for that matter. However, there are many fascinating details in these chapters, if we only take a little prayerful time with them.

However, there is something very interesting to be found at the very beginning at the treading of both chapters that should have already challenged you, for when you read the first verse of both chapters 25 and 26, I pray that you may have noted something rather odd in relation to them.

Let us first look at chapter 25 verse 1, “The Word that came to Yirmyahu concerning all the people of Judah in the fourth year of Yehoiakim.” But now let us look at chapter 26, verse 1, and remember that is the next chapter, but this time it reads; “In the beginning of the reign of Yehoiakim … came this Word from YHVH.” In other words, it was the first year, the start of his reign!

Beloved, the strange fact is, these chapters have been placed back to front, which is quite amazing. Thus chapter 26: 1 states; “… in the beginning of the reign,” but chapter 25:1 says, “In the forth year of the reign.” We may ask, “Why were they placed in that order?” Could it be that the Hebrew’s (Israelites) with the guidance of YHVH knew how to write and make a particular point that had a great meaning?”

Well let’s face it; if you take a Hebrew book, what you would think is the back cover is not, for in truth it is the front cover, for it is with a Hebrew book. You see Hebrew is written from the right to the left. You may think that this is rather strange. Well, not if you are a Hebrew. Let's face it, “if the Children of Israel, write from the RIGHT, how can Israel be WRONG? You cannot be right and wrong at the same time. Moreover who wrote first anyway?” Well, that is my Hebrew joke for this study. “Please no more” I hear you say. I promise this is my first and last Hebrew joke! But, what all this really means, is, that YHVH’s and His Hebrew thinking and thought is completely different and that is why so many scholars do not always fully understand what Almighty is saying to His people Israel in some of the Scriptures, for they read and understand the Word with a Greek mind and understanding, and thus make many errors!

YHVH Elohim (the LORD God), blessed be His Holy Name, meant these chapters to be placed in this order for a very specific reason. How can I best illustrate this? Let me do this with the following analogy.

The Med Student:

A medical student in a college learns medicine on theory. As example, he is taught to think forward. He is told about a certain germ, which causes a certain decease, which then causes certain symptoms. That is called “logical progression.”

However when he is a doctor in his own practice, do you think he diagnoses his patients in this manner. No he does not. Possibly, he has become more Hebraic in his thinking, for he has begun to think more practically. For now he begins with the symptoms and then works back to the disease and then he will detect the cause.

It is for these very reasons that these chapters were placed, or stacked if you wish, in this rather unusual way. Hebrew is a very practical language and it is not so much concerned with the theory, but with practice.

Therefore, in the Word of YHVH Elohim, especially in Yirmyahu, you will often find the effect described before the cause. The verdict is given before the evidence. This is what is happening in these chapters. Let us briefly recap: 1. The effect is described before the cause – 2. The verdict is given before the evidence.

As we continue this blessed study of these remarkable chapters, let us look at them in the western way briefly, by placing them back into chronological order. Thus, we will look at chapter 26 and then chapter 25.

Having said that, I wish to state again that chapter 25 deals with a time when the situation was completely hopeless. At that stage, there was no reversing the tragedy that was going to happen in the future, being the invasion by Babylon. Tragically chapter 26 reveals the cause of their hopelessness for the Children of Israel refused to heed to the Word of YHVH Elohim as given to them by His anointed servant Yirmyahu.

I wish I could say that chapter 25 was never written, for that chapter is the crucial chapter in relation to the future of Judah. If chapter 25 could only be wiped out, how different things would be. The same can be said about the warnings found in the books of Daniel as well as those things in the book of Revelation relating to the “Wrath of YHVH Elohim,” which will smite the earth in the near future. Why? Because the evil world today is going astray and the people around the globe, just as it was at the time Yirmyahu – Jeremiah, simply refuse to hear, or heed to the Word of Elohim which so clearly states … “Return to Me.” It is time, just like the days of Yirmyahu – Jeremiah that we must hear and act upon the truth of His Word, for Yahushua is the Word who was from the beginning by whom all things were created!

YHVH is warning His people and He is saying the very same thing today, “Listen to Me. That which I say I have warned you that will be done, I will do.” Above all, I pray that Christians are listening to the Almighty, for everyone must hear and heed to His Word, for sadly there are far too many sermon tasters out there, who hear the Word, but so sadly they just never act on what they have learned. They do not heed on the Word that YHVH speaks to them through those He has chosen, and I will tell you, it will be to your determent, unless you repent and take in His Word and do as He asks of you, no matter what! Do not let spiritual Babylon destroy your life, just because you did not heed His Word, or are lost in manmade traditionalism, which is the huge curse found in the greater dogmatic and traditional Church!

At the beginning of chapter 26 we are told that Yehoiakim had just commenced his reign of Judah. With a new leader on the throne, there is an opportunity for a change for the better, an opportunity for a new direction. A new leader always inspires hope for a better prospect of life and with this new king, maybe he, like some of his forefathers will return to his Elohim. Should this be the case conditions should improve? Beloved, just study the Word; whenever the royal household and the people are faithful, the land flourishes. However, when ungodliness fills the land, the nation and the people suffer.

Jerusalem and the cities of Judah, its kings and its princes, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, a hissing, and a curse” Yirmyahu - Jeremiah 25:18.

“We have not obeyed the voice of YHVH our Elohim, to walk in His Torah (Law), which He set before us by His servants the prophets. Yes, all Israel has transgressed Your Torah, and has departed so as not to obey Your voice; therefore the curse and the oath written in the Torah of Moses the servant of Elohim have been poured out on us, because we have sinned against Him. And He has confirmed His words, which He spoke against us and against our judges who judged us, by bringing upon us a great disaster; for under the whole heaven such has never been done as what has been done to Jerusalem” Daniel 9:10-12.

Let us now turn to the message of Yirmyahu - Jeremiah. May we learn much as we venture into the Word delivered to Judah!

Part Four - The Message

Yirmyahu - Jeremiah spoke to the people of Judah at a gathering in Jerusalem, in other words he was using the best available media of his day. Today it would be radio, TV and the Internet, with satellites soaring high above broadcasting direct to the entire world all at the same time. However, in Yirmyahu - Jeremiah’s day the best media was an assembly of people.

With the nation now living in sin Yirmyahu boldly delivered the Word that YHVH had given him. However, he must have realised that by speaking out in this manner he was placing his life in sever danger. For I am sure that we should all be well aware that the Word of YHVH Elohim can be divisive, for individuals will either accept or reject it. Those who reject the Word, as history proves, will often react violently and do the most drastic things. However, there is also a healing element in the Word of Elohim, for the Spirit of Elohim will touch and heal all those that will listen and heed to His Word. HalleluYAH. However, sadly those that hear and heed to the Word of YHVH Elohim is less than ½% and that includes those that will have heard this study in the past as a spoken study as a message at a fellowship, or those who will now be reading this. I am greatly saddened by this fact, for I have clearly seen those who have been in my very presence during this study yet they have simply not gone on in their spiritual life, just as Israel did not hear what the Father was saying, and these men and women are sadly stuck in their ways of traditions, certain ways of business and life style and families life seems control everything, even their walk with their bheloved Messiah, who ;laid down His life for them!!

“Heavenly Father, I pray in the most blessed Name of Messiah Yahushua that all who are reading this vital study will be touched O YaHVaH Elohim, by your most blessed Word of truth and the teaching that you have given in the Word regarding this wonderful prophet. I pray Father that they all will act on Your Word as they read this study today, for You touch their hearts Lord, by the moving of the Ruach HaKodesh - Holy Spirit! I pray this in Yahushua our Messiah most precious and Holy Name. Amen!”

Please Note: Before I continue, let me tell you that very soon, I will be revealing something that you will never have heard before, and that is a very powerful Word that came through the Tzefanyah – Zephaniah. Believe me, you do not want to miss that, for it contains some very powerful revelations that you will not soon forget, thus make sure that you read it very carefully, if not print it out and kept it handy as a reference!

The Word shows us that Yirmyahu faced many villainous prophets that spoke words of false comfort and assurance. And I am well aware that in these days, just as Yahushua warned us, there are those in so many “Churches” who only utter words of comfort and assurance, who are working on the emotions of individuals with promises of great blessings of health and wealth with improved finances heading their way. These preachers and modern day prophets, who are completely out of step with the blessed Scriptures, utter continual words of comfort and assurance, just as it was in the days of Yirmyahu. The result being, they kept those that followed them, dependent on them, but above all spiritually weak and thus they are always open to outside attack, and Satan is always ready for these sad souls, and sadly I have seen far too many tragedies come out of those vile what tend to be holy roller churches with ministries that are always named after their leader/teachers! Now if you follow a ministry named after its pastor or leader and be assured if you are following a work named after its leader it will NOT be a work of the Lord, but a work of the self and one that always entails obtaining money, and be assured that this work always points to the man, and not to the Messiah, although they operate on pretend miracles, and even preach Jesus, but I have never heard the word repentance in their teaching yet!

Beloved in Messiah I am well aware that this has been a tough study so far, for I have covered some hard subjects, but you must deal with these things as we come towards the latter days, for we are living in an evil world, with wicked politicians, a world that now freely excepts homosexuality and allows them to have babies and get married, etc. Then the greenies are even controlling some governments, such as Australia, where they hold the balance of power in the senate. Worldwide there are new laws that are beyond belief. And ultra right wing evil is becoming more and more evident. The hatred of Jews is growing, as the younger generation is converting as Muslim’s, whilst the Muslim’s are spreading their presence in every country and even demanding in some cases to have the extreme Islamic “Sharia Law” accepted, what next! Whilst all this is happening, counties are finding that criminality is worsening, with more and more murders happening daily, robberies by the dozen each day, elderly people bashed by children, pure evil now walks the streets and people no longer feel safe to walk down the street or ride on a train. Life has changed so much that the world has become like a prison for many as they live in their homes that are more like a safe, well locked with grills and double locks, etc! Thus times are urgent, for the world is out of control and it will get much worse, and the faithful in Yahushua must be ready and stand strong in YHVH Elohim.

There is a simple fact, you are either a servant of Yahushua our Lord and Saviour, or you are not, it is simple as that. You choose your lot! Please be more like Jeremiah and let us stand fast in our faith, being brave and strong in Him, for He will never desert you!

YHVH Elohim, blessed be His Holy Name, does not want a weak Ekklesia/Fellowship (a gathering of the called-out ones) He needs a strong and determined Body, doing all He asks of us. Messiah Yahushua wishes us to seek the things of the Spirit and not those things that are of the world!

A Lesson at Adelong in NSW Australia on June 15, 1998.

This is the key of what YaHVaH Elohim, blessed be His Holy Name, taught me during a retreat in the historic gold mining town of Adelong in New South Wales, Australia, on June15, 1998.

“Be ready to give your all unto Me whenever I call.”

And beloved, our lives in Yahushua must not be based on “What can God do for me,” which seems very much the formula offered by most modern day prophets and preachers, but “What I can give and do for my Lord and Saviour!” Praise Him, for Yahushua the Messiah has already given us His all, when He sacrificed His life for us and shed His precious blood to redeem all who believe and repented from their sins and were then immersed in water.

Beloved, YHVH Elohim’s Words are challenging and here we will see Yirmyahu - Jeremiah challenging the entire nation as he said …

“Before you entered this land, you received the Torah (Law) of Elohim. Ever since entering you have had prophets of Elohim sent to remind you to keep it, but you did not. You cannot plead ignorance, you can only admit disobedience. You knew how you had to live. You had the Torah and the prophets before you came into this land, but you have not listened nor did you heed.” 26: 4 and 5 Paraphrased.

A powerful Word from the prophet Tzefanyah – Zephaniah:

Around the same time, there was another prophet and his name was Tzefanyah - Zephaniah. He spoke a powerful Word from YHVH, and said,

“Woe to her that is filthy and polluted, to the oppressing city” Tzefanyah - Zephaniah 3:1.

What a sad and a tragic statement that was, and yes YHVH Elohim was speaking about His beloved City Jerusalem. But here it is a city that was styled as a “filthy, polluted and an oppressing city.”

Did you realise that there is so much teaching in this one verse alone, that it is simply astounding! This verse contains three vital words, that have very important meanings that would have meant a great deal to the Hebrews and they were shocking indeed!

The Hebrew word for “Filthy” is “Moreah.” This word is derived from the root “Marah” which is more correctly translated as “Rebellious.” What Zephaniah was saying, the Children of Judah were rebellious against YHVH Elohim and were behaving in a vile and abhorrent way.

The word “Polluted” in Hebrew is Ga’al which also means, “Defiled.” This same word is found in Isaiah chapter 59 Verse 3. “For your hands are defiled (Ga’al) with blood.” Judah was filthy in rebellion and polluted or defiled, with their hands stained with blood. Elohim’s chosen people had once again turned their backs on their Creator and were guilty of making sacrifices to other gods.

Poor Jerusalem, the City of Peace in Zephaniah is now called in the Word as being “the oppressing city.” The word “The Oppressing” in the Hebrew is Ha’Yonah,” which also means “Violent” and “Maltreated” or “Ill-treated.” The Children of Israel had abused the City of YHVH

Ga’al” – “Defiled – “Covered.

It is important for us to realise that the word Ga'al has another meaning in the Hebrew. As we come to understand the fullness of this word, I pray that you will be richly blessed by the blessed revelation, which is to be found in this study.

In Shemos - Exodus chapter 6 the word Ga'al is also used, however you will be greatly surprised that there it is translated totally differently than in Tzefanyah - Zephaniah. In Shemos - Exodus 6 it is translated as “Redeemed” or “Rescued,” being “Covered.” In fact, it is the very first time the word “Ga'al” appears in the Word of Elohim. Yet, in Tzefanyah - Zephaniah, Ga’al is not translated as “Redeemed” but as “Polluted.”

You might ask “How can this be?” The fact is beloved, to correctly understand the word redeemed, we have to realise the following. To be redeemed is to be “covered” or “surrounded” with a protective care. Thus when the word Ga’al is used in the correct tense, we are redeemed with a total covering and protection, for Messiah Yahushua is our covering. Praise YHVH!

Whoever believes in Yahushua as the Messiah, and has repented of their sins have the assurance that the shed blood of the Lamb, totally “Covers,” and cleanses us from our sins. However, when this same word is used in the negative tense it represents a covering of evil. Thus, it is either a covering of good or a covering of evil as it is the case in Tzefanyah - Zephaniah. The children of Israel, living in Jerusalem had their hands “polluted,” or “stained,” - “covered” in blood, said YHVH Elohim through His prophet Tzefanyah - Zephaniah.

It certainly was a tragic situation for the nation of Judah to find herself in. This is the same situation that Yirmyahu faced, a city full of evil, being led by many false priests as well as false prophets, and sadly we are in the same situation right now in the 21st.century as tragically so many Churches are filled with false prophets and teachers, many filling their pockets with your gifts, many driving their expensive luxury cars, living in several mansions and flying private jets, etc, and a good number of the TV evangelists are extremely well known and all are so-called spirit filled pentecostals!

At a later time also read “Israel a Passing Crisis” for more on the prophet Zephaniah – See our Main Index.

Part Five - Mould into Shape

Yirmyahu - Jeremiah continues his message with a word of hope,

“If so they will hearken and turn every man from his evil ways that I may repent of the evil which I propose to do unto them because of the evil of their doings.”

Yirmyahu - Jeremiah said “if. Beloved, this little word “if” is really good news, for it means that the statement is conditional. It also means that it is a prediction and that it could go either way and it all depends on the hearer’s reaction to the Word of  YHVH Elohim.

It clearly states that IF “with this new king please listen and repent then YHVH our Elohim will repent.” Some have asked me in the past is it possible for Elohim to repent?” Or should I say, can YHVH Elohim change His mind?

Well let me ask you a question; “Do you believe that prayer can change things and that miracles can and have happened?” Well, I am sure that the vast majority will say yes, for indeed prayer is very powerful, especially if you have prayed correctly in the Name of Yahushua, in addition, it has been clearly recorded in the Word that Messiah and His apostles and also during the past 2,000 years, many healings and other miracles have occurred in His Name. Faith and prayer changes people, but did you realise that our prayer can also change Elohim’s mind? This is a wonderful revelation for the truth is that we can change Elohim’s mind in relation to the punishments that He must enforce upon the sinful. Our prayers and intercession can bring the sinful to Messiah Yahushua and then YHVH Elohim forgives them, and He will repent and change His mind of that He would have done if they had not come into faith. Some have difficulty with this notion however remember Moses’ appeal to YHVH at Mt Sinai. Remember that YHVH Elohim was extremely angry with the Children of Israel when they had made and worshipped the golden calf and Elohim wanted to utterly destroy them all. However, Moshe prayed and interceded on their behalf for forty days and nights (please note the duration for this timing is important) and he sought Elohim to forgive them. Praise YHVH our Elohim for His mercy, for He did just that. This proves that YHVH is indeed an Elohim of great love and one who will change His mind and listen to His faithful servants!

In the prophecy of Yirmyahu - Jeremiah, we see a definite condition attached.

“If you will listen, if you will amend your ways and doings, if you will put things right, then Elohim will repent, change His mind. Only then will YHVH not bring that disaster upon you, which is on the way because of your disobedience” Paraphrased.

Yirmyahu - Jeremiah’s message was so simple, “Repent of your sins and Elohim will repent of the punishment that is due.”

We live in a glorious freedom, for we can choose the outcome of our lives. We are free to choose, for we are not puppets on a string being controlled. What is our choice? Life in the Kingdom of Elohim, apart from this there is only other alternative as stated so very clearly in the Word.

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of Elohim is eternal life in Messiah Yahushua our Master.” Romans 6: 23.

Therefore, beloved, it should be a simple decision. However it is not so for the majority as following the one and only YaHVaH Elohim and Messiah Yahushua does not come naturally, not even for christians as the vast majority are bound by the Roman pagan traditions and then there is a world who are suckers for wild music, movies of violence and immorality, and suckers for the bright lights of the casinos and desiring all that glitters in the world.

Then for some “Christians,” the Church does not glitter enough, thus they bring worldly glitter into it, in order to make it, as they believe, more palatable for “lost souls to come.” Thus they have Rock’n’Roll bands, with many of their musicians with piercings and tattoos all over their bodies playing loud music, and believe me all you have to do is look at His blessed Word, Elohim will not honour the things that belong to the darkness. The Word of Elohim clearly state;

“What fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion has light with darkness?” 2 Corinthians 6:14.

Again, “You are all the children of light and the children of the day we are not of the night, nor of darkness” 1 Thessalonians 5:5.

I pray, beloved that your fellowship knows the true Name of Messiah and is filled with things befitting Messiah Yahushua who is our bright and shinning light! Did He not clearly say “Ask it in MY (real) Name!”

In verse 3, Yirmyahu - Jeremiah delivers the Word of Elohim, which first speaks of their sinful past and then he warns them of the future. Yirmyahu - Jeremiah then states, that the present can change the future, if Judah will only mould into shape. I am sure we are all aware of the potter and the clay as related in Yirmyahu - Jeremiah 18:1 to 7 & 19 and 19:1, 2 & 11.

“Then I went down to the potter's house, and there he was, making something at the wheel. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make” Yirmyahu - Jeremiah 18:3-4.

The question I wish to pose at this time is this … “Who has charge over the vessel, the potter or the clay?” We know that the potter represents YHVH our Elohim, blessed be His Holy Name.

To answer this, let me tell you, I took up pottery as a hobby many years ago and made many hand built pieces. I know when I took the clay and commenced to build something, for instance a vase, it sometimes ended up being a bowl. Let me explain. Just like us, clay has a free will. Its outcome is often based on a number of conditions, such as moisture and air temperature. I remember well that at times it turned into a totally different shape than I originally intended. Thus, I must say, the clay can have considerable charge over the vessel, and not always the potter. And as I have already indicated we are certainly not puppets hanging on a string being controlled, for we tend to make our own decisions! Indeed, Elohim, blessed be He, is the creator of the clay, but He has given us the freedom to mould into the kind of shape He desires us to be. Yet some will simply not mould to the potter’s design.

Let me give an example based on the life of a believer: A man who at the age of twenty-seven receives a call to enter into ministry, but he does not take up the call and continues with his regular life as usual and remains a good believer. However, later in his life, now aged forty-three, he accepts a renewed call and he goes forth and shares the living Word of Elohim. Now I ask you the question, will this man be the same vessel, the same shape as if he had gone out to do the Lord’s work aged twenty-three? Will his new vessel contain the same volume? No, of course not for he will not have touched as many lives and he will be a very different shape to that which he could have been, had he gone out when he was first called aged twenty-seven. The Word clearly states that … “One star differs from another star in glory.” (1 Corinthians 15:41). YHVH Elohim, blessed be His Holy Name, creates the clay, but the clay determines the outcome. Elohim is saying through Yirmyahu - Jeremiah

“Mould into the shape I desire you to be, for then you will be beautiful, you will be perfect in Me.”

Let us shape up and be the vessel Elohim desires us to be! YHVH so much desired to mould the children of Israel in a special and wonderful way. However, they would not mould into the shape He desired. Just like my vase that would not turn into the shape I wished it to be, so I cut off the offending part which I threw away, and duly turned the main part of the body into a bowl. If Israel had shaped up right there and then, Elohim would have changed His mind. This does not mean that Elohim is inconsistent. No, Elohim is consistent with His character, which is His righteousness. Meaning, if His people will not listen to Him, He must punish them, for He had warned them back in the wilderness. However, if they shape up He would forgive them. Praise Elohim He never changes His character. The Elohim of the Tenach (the Old Testament) and the Elohim of the Brit Chadashah (New Testament) is the same Elohim. He is an Elohim of righteousness, love, mercy, anger, and yes of wrath for the Word says so.

Tragically so many “christians” only teach about the Elohim of love, which is only one part of the character of Elohim. We must not forget that Elohim is our Father, and a father at times must lovingly punish his children with an outstretched hand.

As we think of Messiah Yahushua, the question arises, was He just meek and mild? Beloved, believe me, He certainly was not! For as the Word clearly proves that with Yahushua there would be no compromise whatsoever and we will remember how He showed His anger!. Indeed, our Saviour Yahushua was certainly loving, merciful and above all, He was always just, like His Father in heaven. But if we look at the Word, we will find that Yahushua often spoke in a way that in the modern way of thinking would be considered as rather harsh. Remember it was our Lord Messiah who said … “Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, (you are) hypocrites … serpents, brood of vipers” (Matthew 23: 29 & 33). OK, they deserved it, for what He said was the truth! Yahushua even rebuked His own apostles, with words such as … “You of little faith.” This can hardly be called complimentary. Our Messiah, like His Father, was honest, direct, and perfect in every way. YHVH our Elohim, is a Elohim of righteousness, love, mercy, anger, and wrath, for indeed, the character of our heavenly father is the same yesterday, today and forever! YHVH is above all just, which is His Holiness. He is the Elohim of love and mercy, He is our Father in Heaven who will correct us if need be.

Some in the Body, like Israel so long ago, do not like the teachings of Yirmyahu - Jeremiah and that include those who have been called of by YHVH to warn this age. “He is too negative. He simply can’t see the good things that are happening.” If you feel this way, then you are wrong and out of step with YHVH Elohim. We need to heed to the Word of Elohim and those He uses to bring a Word from Him, especially during these the “Latter Days.” Yirmyahu - Jeremiah said, “If you will not return unto Me this house, the Temple and the whole of this city will be destroyed. It will be ruined and desolate.” Beloved, be warned we are living in an evil and dangerous times, and you better start listening to the Almighty in and through the Ruach HaKodesh – the Holy Spirit right now, before it is too late!

The Temple & security blankets.

We must understand that the people regarded the Temple like some children regard their security blanket. Whilst it is there the people believe that “we are safe, Elohim protects us.” The people believed, as long they could see the Temple they were safe and they knew that the nations round about were afraid, for they had “heard” of the power of the Elohim of Israel. Amazingly, the people always seem to know their Elohim when they needed Him. Amazingly, just like the ungodly atheists and others will pray and know Him when a plane start bouncing around for a while high up in the air!

In the Temple, the priests were performing all the usual rituals, whilst false prophets spoke words of comforting assurance and greatly opposed the words that Yirmyahu - Jeremiah had spoken, even though he had been appointed by YHVH. The attitude of Judah was “why worry, all the other prophets are saying ‘all is well.’ This Yirmyahu - Jeremiah must be mad, who is he anyway?” How I know that feeling!

This is just what many of the Jewish people in Germany said when they were told of the impending dangers that lay ahead of them. “Nothing will happen to us. Are we not good Germans and did our fathers not fight valiantly in the Great War? Herr Hitler knows that we are Germany’s leading scientists, poets, musicians, doctors, and surgeons to those in authority. No, all is well, we are quite safe.” Again, just like in the days of Jeremiah, they would not listen, and what happened, 6 million were murdered.

It was just like that in the days of Noah. As he commenced to build the ark, the people simply laughed and sneered at him. “There is that mad man. He believes it is going to rain and that there is going to be a flood. A flood of rain he says. What is rain? We have never heard of it? And just look at that big boat he is building, how will he ever get it to the water?” People simply refused to heed the warnings that were given to them, but then it was too late. And finally YHVH Elohim did exactly what He had said He would do.

I ask you - are you listening NOW!

Therefore, it is vital that we and the world understand this truth in relation to Elohim’s most Holy Word, especially those He gave through His prophets, YHVH, blessed be His Holy Name, said what He meant, and He meant what He said. As the rains poured down and the earth flooded, the multitudes wished they were on that great boat that they could see floating away from them as they tragically drowned. Today, so many have been deceived by the evil one. Even though their pastors, priests and teachers, all due to those pagan god worshipping roman emperors and false so-called greater church leaders who lived in palaces and dripping in gold and precious jewels. Popes who went forth to war killing innocents with their own hands with a sword, yet Messiah clearly stated …

"For all who draw the sword will die by the sword.” Mattityahu – Matthew 26: 52.

Beloved, those who will not believe the Word of Elohim, especially regarding the impending doom that will befall them if they do not repent and “return” to Elohim. Back so long ago, we know that the Children of Israel were holding on to their security blanket, but YHVH Elohim, blessed be His Holy Name, was going to do that He which had said He would do and He would even allow His dwelling place in the midst of the people, the Temple to be utterly destroyed. Why would He allow this?

The truth is as follows. The power of Elohim is and never was in a building, be it the Temple, a Cathedral, or a Church, for here on Earth the power of the loving Elohim has always been within His people. The presence of Elohim is not just in a religious building or monuments. Nor in the fact, that YHVH Elohim founded the City of Jerusalem. It is the relationship of the people living in the City with their Elohim. It is our relationship with our blessed Creator what really counts and the building was always the desire of man and not part of Elohim’s requirements or needs!

However, we have now come to a most amazing part of the study and I believe that this part will really lift you up and it is full of blessed teaching and very different to what has preceded.

 Part Six - The Trial

According to the vast majority of priests, prophets and people of Judah the message that Yirmyahu - Jeremiah had given them was not only treason, but to them it was total sacrilege. “How dare this man talk about our Temple like that?” We have to remember, regardless Israel’s state of rebellion, the Temple still stood as Israel's symbol of strength and it had long been their mighty symbol of security. Immediately the priests and false prophets plotted how to have Yirmyahu – Jeremiah put to death. Now is that not interesting? But let us continue.

If you read the details of their accusations you will clearly note that they completely changed what Yirmyahu - Jeremiah had actually said, and thus they based their accusations on was a fabrication and they believed that they had a case for capital punishment, yes they would be victorious and he would die!

Please note: this anointed man of YHVH Elohim, a true and just prophet was accused by men who were all “religious” leaders. Yes beloved, they were the priests, pastors and ministers of their day, and these so-called men of Elohim, who were in reality led by satan, just as it is today, falsely accused this prophet and called for his death. These “religious” people took their case before the civil authorities, being the Royal Court and demanded him to be sentenced to death.

Now beloved, think about it, does this not remind you of another event at a later date, an event that would change the course of world history?

What was happening right here to Yirmyahu - Jeremiah would tragically happen again some six hundred or so years later as corrupt priests, yes it is unbelievable and true, once again the spiritual leaders of that day, also falsely accused another blessed one who was sent by YHVH Elohim, our beloved Messiah Yahushua, our Lord and Saviour! Just like the priests in the days of Yirmyahu - Jeremiah, they also took their case to the civil authority and demanded Him to be put to death! Here in the writings of Yirmyahu we see the prequel event, the prophetic, but it would be different and we will soon see why.

Beloved, in the very heart of a chapter that is not read by many in faith, and almost not at all in the greater Church we see the arrest, accusation and trial of Yirmyahu, which we now realise is a representation, a picture, a shadow of that which was going to happen to Yahushua our beloved Messiah in the future. As we ponder this, I pray that you are gaining much from this study on Yirmyahu - Jeremiah!

The question is this: “What made the religious authorities so fearful about the words that Yirmyahu had spoken?” The answer is simple: “Their security.” The fact is their jobs rested on his words. This man of sent by YHVH Elohim was not challenging the Temple, but the livelihood of these wicked priests and so-called prophets. Therefore, they rapidly laid charges against him and went to the princes of the court to stop him speaking out any further. They had to shut him up fast to save their precious jobs, and thus they demanded,

“Kill him, what right have you to say in the name of YHVH, that He will destroy this Temple, like the one at Shiloh. How dare you say that Jerusalem will be destroyed and without survivors. What right do you have?” Paraphrased.

The truth is friends that was not what Yirmyahu had said at all. For what he did say was “IF.”

Their twisted minds turned what was a Conditional prediction into an Absolute one. They claimed Yirmyahu had said that, “The Temple and city will fall.”

No, he said nothing of the kind. What he did say, if we carefully read the Word, “If you amend your ways you will keep it.” Why did they not place the condition in their charge? Because they realised that Yirmyahu was not prophesising against the Temple and the city but against them, the false priests and prophets, just like the liars in the churches to day, priests, pastors and teachers, many who know the truth, but dare not tell the truth for they will lose their job. More on this later.

Remember as they brought Yahushua our Messiah to trial, they said the same thing.

“We heard Him say, ‘I will destroy this Temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands’” Markus - Mark 14:58.

Yahushua had been speaking about a person, in this case, with “the Temple of His body” (Yochannan - John 2 18-21). This was a concept they simply did not understand, thus they twisted His words and believed they had a good case to convict Him and applied the death penalty. Here we see identical trials in the Word, one with Yirmyahu and the other of our Lord and Saviour Messiah Yahushua so many years later.

In this Scripture, we notice that Yirmyahu was in court without any defence, again just like Messiah who was also not given any defence. The accusers in both situations said the same thing, “You have heard it from his own lips, he deserves to die.” There was no doubt that Yirmyahu had spoken to Judah with a prophet’s boldness.

We should also remember the time that when Yirmyahu was first called he was just a teenager at sixteen years of age, and he was a rather nervous young man. Now after almost nineteen years as a prophet we see him as a strong man and a true servant of the Elohim of Avraham, Yitzchak (Isaac), and Ya’akov (Jacob). Yirmyahu in the name of YHVH Elohim declares the following …

“Do to me what you feel is good and right. But I remind you, if you put me to death you will be murderers because I came to you in truth in the Name of YHVH ... Do to me what you like.”

How bold this once nervous prophet has become. YHVH Elohim (the LORD God), blessed be His Holy Name, told Yirmyahu at the beginning of his ministry … “I will make you a fortress, I will fortify you” … and there he stands before all these evil priests, false prophets and princes saying … “do to me what you wish. However, amend your ways and doings, for that is what I said. Do not shed innocent blood, for it will be on this city.”

When the priests accused Yahushua, the civic authorities said, “This man has done nothing to deserve death.” This was history repeating itself, for Yirmyahu and then our beloved Messiah experienced the same thing with one huge difference. Yirmyahu was released, why? Because there were certain elders present who had long memories. Praise Elohim for faithful elders, yes seniors in the Body, men, and women with long memories.

A pastor said to me once “My Church and our pastoral team is young and a vibrant team.” However, in that same church, the elders are slowly being pushed into the background, whilst the young leaders have their loud rock band deafening the ears and when I was invited I noted some of these young men in the band with piercings and covered in tattoos. Not exactly a great message I felt! In addition the Fellowship is greatly lacking when it comes to teaching of the Word of Elohim in fact this same church is now teaching great error and it is following a certain erroneous American TV evangelist, where once it was a good, strong and a solid fellowship with many good seniors who held this church together, but they were literally chased out by their new young pastors and rock and roll bands.!

Praise Elohim for older saints. May they, like this elder at the time of Yirmyahu, whose name was Ahikam stand with the faithful, reminding the people of what YHVH Elohim has done.

Ahikam was a wise man and one who dared to speak out as he stood up and said …

“Why? Do not you remember the prophet Micah he said exactly the same thing long ago? We did not kill him, but we listened to him. That is why we still have the Temple and the city today. Why kill Yirmyahu - Jeremiah, we did not kill Micah? Remember how Urijah was killed, he fled to Egypt. Urijah made the fatal mistake, one that Yirmyahu - Jeremiah has not made, Urijah prophesied against the city and he ran away because of his fear.”

Urijah died because of his fear, Yirmyahu on the other hand was YHVH’s strong prophet for a weak nation and he did not run, but he stood firmly by the Word that Elohim had given him.

Beloved if YHVH gives you a Word then you must speak it out boldly, no matter how difficult it is or who criticises you. If there is no criticism whatsoever, then it is most likely not a Word from Elohim, for YHVH challenges those that do wrong and He demands a response. Those that are living outside His will, be they pastors or individuals in the Body, Elohim will challenge them if need be. Sadly in these “Latter Days:” there are far too many Urijah's around, running rather than standing with Elohim. YHVH desires His Body to be like a mighty fortress, standing on His Word!

Beloved, right in the heart of the Tenach (Old Testament), in the heart of a book and two chapters that is so seldom read by the christians, or even the faithful, the whole story of what was going to happen to Messiah Yahushua is unfolding in its pages. Now who is saying that Yirmyahu - Jeremiah is boring?

It has also taught us, that men, priests and the religious authorities were not operating in the will of Elohim, and that they will turn against true and genuine men of YHVH Elohim, just to save their own necks, their jobs and their security, and they will do this with lofty and crafty words.

How can we end this chapter without thinking of Messiah Yahushua once more? Remember how Yahushua wept over Jerusalem,

“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!” Mattityahu - Matthew 23:37.

Yahushua wept over the city that would neither hear, nor heed the Word of Elohim. “You did not know the time of your visitation … if you had only listened. But now I can see it is too late.” (Paraphrased).

Yirmyahu and Yahushua both wept and were tried in the same manner. The only difference being, Yirmyahu had a faithful elder among the people who stood up for him even at the threat of own life. Yahushua had no one, as even His beloved Peter denied Him three times. Without any defence Yahushua stood silently as the high priest accused Him. Then, upon the Lord’s answer the priests cried out "He is deserving of death."

“But Yahushua kept silent. And the high priest answered and said to Him, ‘I put you under oath by the living Elohim: Tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of Elohim!" Yahushua said to him, "It is as you said. Nevertheless, I say to you, hereafter you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.’ Then the high priest tore his clothes, saying, ‘He has spoken blasphemy! What further need do we have of witnesses? Look, now you have heard His blasphemy! What do you think?’ They answered and said, ‘He is deserving of death.’ Then they spat in His face and beat Him; and others struck Him with the palms of their hands” Mattityahu - Matthew 26:63-67.

Part Seven - The Sequel

What did the people learn, did Judah heed to the Word of Elohim in the four years between chapter 26 and 25? No, they neither heard nor heeded to the Word of Elohim that was delivered by Yirmyahu. We now come to chapter 25, which contains the sad sequel being the effect for all the aforementioned that occurred in chapter 26.

It is four years later and sadly there has been no change, no revival. Beloved, as it was then, so shall it be in these days, for men will not learn from history, they will not learn from their past mistakes. I will ask you, “Is the world listening?” No, the world and our nation has not heard the Word and believe me they will not, for the Scriptures clearly states that in the last days “all nations will turn against Israel (Zecharyah - Zechariah 12:3 & 14:2).

However, praise YHVH Elohim for the faithful in Him and for the many individuals who are yet to be saved before Yahushua comes for his faithful. Beloved, we must pray for there will be those individuals who will hear and be touched by the Word, but sadly it will be not many, not even many who are still lost in the churches that continue to practice theology that originates from Romanism due the input of the pagan sun worshipper Constantine, who instituted festival that contains so much paganism, but it is so cleverly hidden with Christological meanings, etc! All I can say how clever hasatan (the adversary) is!

Believe me, the spirit of Yirmyahu - Jeremiah is still among us today!

“In the fourth year of king Yehoiakim,” said Yirmyahu when he spoke again, however this time there was not one single “IF.”

“Now it has come,” he says. “I warned you four years ago, but you would not listen. Now I have only one message, you WILL go into captivity, you WILL go to BABYLON.”

This is the very first time he actually names the place, “BABYLON where Judah will be taken in captivity. As he uttered the name of Babylon, he must have sent great fear into the hearts of the people of Judah. Why? For Babylon represented the place of their fathers’ origin. It was the origin, the home of Avram (Avraham).

“Could this mean that YHVH Elohim will also remove all the promises that He had  made with us?” To go back to Babylon in the mind of the Judean’s was just if Elohim would have banishes them forever and wiped them from His memory. Yirmyahu then restated his earlier statements “The City and the Temple WILL be destroyed for that is the effect of disobedience.”

Shaul of Tarsus (Paul), in the Word of Elohim says, “It is good news to everyone that believes for all that will listen will be saved.” However, what is the very next sentence? “For the ANGER, the WRATH is being revealed from heaven.”

Is it not amazing, that we seldom, or almost NEVER hear that part of the Scripture associated with the first part of his statement?

Yirmyahu said, “YHVH Elohim is angry. Four years ago I said listen. Now I say it is too late!”

Even though Elohim is patient, we must understand there comes a point when YHVH takes a clay pot, picks it up and smashes it. There is a point where the clay becomes so hard, so dry (called ‘leather-hard’ for all those potters) it becomes unworkable. There is a point where Elohim stops listening and then according to His Word, He must act. The message is simply this. Listen to Elohim when He speaks and act upon it.

Yirmyahu - Jeremiah had preached for 22 long years saying, “Turn again to YHVH, return (repent) unto Him and all will be well. However, if you refuse to hear and heed to YHVH, disaster will befall you.”

How does the teaching relate to these days? Sadly, there are believers falling away from the Lord due to false and liberal teaching. There is so much teaching regarding predestination, prosperity, replacement theology, and of course the keeping of pagan feasts and the worship on the “Day of the venerable SUN” which was instituted by Constantine, just to name just a few. In these “the latter days” there are far too many false doctrines and new fads, like the ‘spirit of laughter’ etc, that entered the churches a while back, just as the Word of Elohim warned us about and there will be more evil to come, for these churches are open to satan’s lies, as they bare already in his grasp!

“Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron … But reject profane and old wives' fables, and exercise yourself toward godliness” 1 Timothy 4:1-2 & 4:7.

Some pastor’s invite modern day prophets, who like the false prophets of Yirmyahu time, utter words, which simply do not line up with the Word of YHVH Elohim. In the Word, beloved, we find that true prophets of YHVH Elohim are bold and speak out. Their words will strengthen Elohim’s people and those who are seeking His truth.

Prophecy is to build. However, in order to build up, it must first destroy. We ourselves had to destroy things in our lives before we could stand right with Yahushua! Whilst we were still in sin, we might have gone to see evil and bloodthirsty movies that provide all sorts of cheap thrills and spills, filled with death and destruction, etc., and in these day’s foul language and even hideous nudity, etc has become the norm, not just in movies but on TV.

Those saved by the shed blood of the Lamb cannot go to this foul rubbish, or watch it on TV, nor allow their children to see this kind of evil, for it all comes from the realm of the evil one? Beloved, be wary of what you watch on TV. And parents, please beware of the evils that are to be found in those computer games, for the vast majority are based of murder and death, monsters and all things that are evil, yet I know of so many “christians who buy this rubbish as Xmas presents satanic gifts for a satanic feast!

Then in many pentecostal so-called (what a joke) spirit filled churches, as I already stated earlier, there are young men with earrings in their ears, even in noses and lips that actually “minister” in their Church as part of their music group playing their heavy rock music, etc. I have been told that “But brother, this brings in the young people from the street and many are led to Jesus.”

At this point, I must ask the question, “Can the faithful in Lord really use worldly means to attain spiritual results?” The answer is simple. NO!

The Word teaches us that we must live a pure life in Messiah Yahushua, “Not conforming yourselves to the former lusts.” Evil movies, rock music, and pierced ears are all part of the worldly “former lusts.” This is why the Word of YHVH Elohim, must be first destructive then constructive. It must destroy the flesh nature. “Be Holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be Holy, for I am Holy” (1 Peter 1:13-16).

“Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or “What fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Messiah and Belial.” 2 Corinthians 6:14-15.

Believers are to overcome the ways of the flesh and darkness, to stand strong on the Word of YHVH Elohim and not sway to the right nor left. Thus, we cannot use the means of the darkness to attempt to gather others into our presence, for they will not be there for the right reason and will not come to know the real Messiah from the Word, but one that I tend to call the KFC or the Take a Way Christ of the so-called christian church. Where you generally do not hear words like REPENT. No they have mostly one word at the end of the pastors psychology lesson of the day, with a unrelated mention of Jesus in there for good measure, and that one word will be repeated over and over again, and again to wonderful and emotional music … “come, come, come … ” etc, but where is that word REPENTANCE for without it no one can be saved!

Messiah said: “Hold fast what you have till I come. And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations” Revelation 2:25-26.

That is the Good News of Yahushua, He came to destroy the sin of the world. He came to destroy the power of the adversary. Yahushua provides Life, Hope, and Peace unto all that listen and heed to His call and accept Him as Messiah and Saviour of their lives. However, to those that refuse to heed, He will cut them utterly out of the Word of Promise, for “the wages of sin is death.” For those who do not know their Messiah, this is what He is saying to you.

“Come to Me, you that are with burden, REPENT of your sins and I will forgive you and give you everlasting life. However, if you do not, there is a disaster on the way for ‘The Great Tribulation’ will be upon you before you know it. Come to Me now, while things are good, whilst you still can and you will not enter that time of pain. I have warned you!” Paraphrased.

YHVH Elohim, blessed be His Holy Name, desires the faithful to be like a mighty fortress, a stronghold in His name, living and ministering in His power. Go and tell the world that they are also “covered” by the shed blood of Yahushua that is if they will only return to YHVH Elohim, believe in His Son Yahushua and repent. The message we learn from Elohim is, “be My spokesmen and be strong, just like Yirmyahu, Moses, Elijah and Isaiah, for the Great I Am is with you!” Elohim does not desire to pour His wrath upon men. He desires them to repent of the evil that must fall upon the world. Yes, even that the days of Tribulation may be shortened. Elohim desires to change things for the better. It is our duty to be prayerful and active in His service in these “Latter Days!” YHVH is near unto all that call upon Him in truth. He will preserve all that love Him, but the wicked He will destroy.

This world is to see a time of great tragedy soon, but the fact is they have been warned. It will be upon their heads! Remember, YHVH Elohim said what He meant and meant what He said!

I have heard it said that it is the responsibility of pastors and teachers to continually uplift up the Body. We do this beloved by exploring and teaching the treasures that the Almighty has given us through His Word, always allowing the Holy Spirit to open the Word in such a way that the beauty of it lifts us closer to Him. Yet, even in the Word studied here, which could be called somewhat negative, especially to those to whom it was spoken to, yet we witnessed the great love of Father who gave Judah a chance to be fully restored unto Him. Thus, had they returned to YHVH, He would not have done that which He said He would do. Praise Him for His enduring mercy! We must understand that Elohim called Yirmyahu to speak out against those who were the spiritual leaders of the time. This had to be done for they were leading the people astray.

Some in the body will accuse those that speak out against the new doctrines and fads, to be negative. But then again they must also accuse our blessed Messiah Yahushua of being negative when he spoke out against the Sanhedrin and the Pharisees. They were the priests and teachers of that day. Yahushua also retorted his own disciples with words like, “Ye of little faith” and even to Chefa (Peter), “Get behind me Satan.”

Beloved, YHVH is no respecter of person, He will reprimand His own. He does this sternly, but with love and according to His Word. He does this to bring them back where they should be in Him.

Again, in a portion of the Word, which is not read much, we have discovered a mighty message. Be like Yirmyahu, be a follower of Yahushua in a real way. Let us “hold fast to the profession of our faith without wavering” for so many things round about us will try us and the adversary (hasatan) would love us to waver. There are so many deceptions entering that which is called the church and we can clearly see it having an effect. Therefore, we the faithful in Yahushua must “prove all things.” We must be His children thus YHVH has given the gift of discernment. Pray unto the YHVH that we have an abundance of discernment, for we need it in these “Latter Days.”

Today there is far too much sentimentality and emotionalism in the “church.” I certainly know about the Elohim of love, but I also know that Elohim is angry with those that are disobedient. I am emotional when I think of Yahushua our Saviour, what He has done for us, for He gave His life in order that you and I might have life!

I stated earlier that there are pastors and teachers who know a great deal of the truth, especially regarding the pagan day of worship related to sunday, and easter, chistmas that these were all introduced by the pagan church, also other pagan theology and customs that has taken hold. Thus, I asked, why then do you not tell your congregation the truth, for you do know it, as you tell me you know the Word and you have the truth.” But the answer has always been in a similar vain, although in different terms but they all come down to these words, “I will lose my job and I cannot do anything else, this is what I am trained to do.” And these same men continue to teach lies, tragic and worse still how will they be dealt with, I will leave that in His hands!

Part Eight - Conclusion

This study could be summarised in just a few words. In fact, if we simply read chapter 25 and I stated the following, it would have covered this entire study.

“Your faith will never rise above the level of your confession.”

In other words, if you have a witness of lips and it does not measure up to the witness of your life, you might as well forget the witness of lips.

The witness of your life will make the witness of your lips effective, for there must be “fruits” in your life!

How much are you willing to give of yourself unto YHVH? Fifty percent? I pray it will be one hundred percent! Will we, like Yirmyahu, be able to say …

“Do as you will, kill me if you have to, but I am going to proclaim the truth of Elohim! If you lay a hand upon me and kill me, you will be an offender to Elohim and a murderer and stand guilty before Almighty Elohim.”

That beloved is one hundred percent faith! The faithful in Yahushua need a strong faith, one that will stand wholly upon the Word of Elohim.

However, sadly in reality it is not like that. Churches are being filled because of “great entertainment,” offering puffed up messages and false teachings of predestination, prosperity, the power of positive thinking and all that new age love’ism. These are all things that feed the self. We need a well-balanced Ekklesia, a well-balanced Body in Messiah, standing wholly on Him who is “our Rock and our sure foundation.”

Be strong in Yahushua, and be a Fortress in Elohim, “Fear not, for I Am With you.” Be like Yirmyahu - Jeremiah, for ...

“Your faith will never rise above the level of your confession.”

Praise YHVH Elohim, for His Anointed One, Messiah Yahushua will be coming very soon for the faithful in Him! …

“Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.” Mattityahu - Matthew 24:32-34.

***********************************************************

A concluding but very important note; which I have been led to add at the last minute!

Beloved, I pray that you take heed of what follows for it is important. I ask you to pray at this point and allow the Ruach HaKodesh (the Holy Spirit) speak to your heart, but please listen very carefully and allow the truth of the Word, not this author fill you with YaHVaH’s Word and His truth that you may grow in Him, blessed be His Holy Name!

I am assured that we are indeed living in the latter days and we must stand up and we MUST ALL return to using the most holy Names in reverence, being the Names of the Father YaHVaH Elohim and His Anointed One Yahushua the Messiah and not use the foreign made up names, that have been given to them by the deceivers in the world that go back to the days of early Rome.

It is most important that you read the study The Memorial Name. Sadly some of the names used for our beloved Creator and Messiah come from other sources and even have very different and foreign meanings, and are even greatly opposed to the Word, and sadly far too many Christians do not even know or understand this, although not due to their own fault, but due to the teachers. Some will say, but the names have been translated. Beloved, we certainly must translate words in order that we may understand what is being said to us and are able to ascertain the meaning, etc. However, did we translate the name of Mikhail Gorbachov and call him Michael Gordon. No we certainly did not! Or that well known Prime Minister of the Sate of Israel, Mrs. Golda Meir and what did we call her, Gloria May, because Meier was a little difficult to say, thus she became simply known as “Golda,” but also as “Golda Meir!” But we always used all foreign names with dignity for it would have been offensive to use any other name and so it should be with the most Holy Names of YaHVaH Elohim and Yahushua our Lord and our Saviour! But did you know that there were others in the Scriptures that had the name Yahushua in the Scriptures, the same name as our Lord and Saviour? In fact Strong’s makes this very clear, but read the study via the link above and be richly blessed.

Please beloved it is important right now, if you have not done so to read the study via the link above and be challenged by what the Father and the Son so clearly stated “Ask it in MY NAME”, for the truth is, we cannot use any other name - That is your challenge Today, for we can not continue to live like the Judeans did in the Days of Yirmyahu – Jeremiah with our heads under a bushel!

Start using the most Holy Names in prayer and see how blessed your prayer life will be!

May YHVH Elohim bless and keep you in the palm of His Hand!

Elder/Teacher - Reuben ben Gershom.

“Teach me Your way, O YHVH. I will walk in Your truth.
UNITE MY HEART TO FEAR YOUR NAME!”

Tehillim – Psalms 86:11

Yahushua said; No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the Prophets: They will all be taught by Elohim. Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from Him comes to Me. No one has seen the Father except the One who is from Elohim; only He has seen the Father. I tell you the truth he who believes has everlasting life.” Yochannan (John) 6:43-48.
