--Sharing our Lord and Saviour Yahushua, Yeshua the Messiah to the World!--

Please Note: On this site we prefer to use the actual Name of our loving Heavenly Father as it was written in the Hebrew and thus you will note that we will use the four letter “Memorial Name” of   - YHVH, which is pronounced as YaHVaH or YaHWaH, also we will use our Heavenly Father’s title, which is “Elohim” rather than “God.” We need to remember that “Elohim” (God) is NOT a name but an attribute, a title! In addition we also love to use the actual/real Name of our beloved “Messiah” in Greek written as “Christos”, but His loving Name is  - “Yahushua” or “Yeshua” in short, for this is our Saviours original Hebrew Name as given to Him in Lukas - Luke 1:31. This was the only Name ever used when He was on the earth by His family, disciples and His followers for hundreds of years thereafter. However, it was changed to a foreign name by that new Church, that later became known as “the greater Roman Church.” Occasionally, we may also use other Hebrew or Greek names and words in our studies, but these will be translated when they are used, either the first time in a study or at various times as needed for clarity. For an explanation of YHVH’s most Holy and blessed “Memorial Name” and the wonderful Name of our Messiah: Please read The Memorial Name.

The three levels of learning & understanding of the blessed Word of YaHVaH Elohim (the Lord God):

When we read and study the blessed Scriptures, the Word of YHVH Elohim as a believer in Yahushua (Yeshua) the Messiah, we should keep following three steps always in mind for they are a valuable guide and it will certainly provide us with guidance and illuminate the sheer beauty and the fullness of YHVH’s most blessed Word.

1. Who was YHVH Elohim, blessed be His Holy Name speaking to?

2. When was it said?

3. How was His Word understood at the time it was spoken/given?

I do believe that these three points are most relevant to our understanding of 1. What the Almighty is saying at the time – 2. As well as what it means to us today - and 3. Especially to you and me right now!

Shalom - Peace be with you, in Yahushua THE Messiah!

When was our Messiah Really Born?

Since Yahushua the Messiah was certainly not born on December 25 - the question is – “When was He born?” You might reasonably think, well can you really determine with any reasonable degree of accuracy the date of His birth? I suppose the next question should be “Are we to observe His birthday?”

Believe it or not, there are very clear biblical clues concerning the true date of our Saviour’s birth. However, it is obvious the writers of the gospels did not think it important to include the exact date, speaking only of the events surrounding His birth, or events when he was 12 years of age, when He answered the learned ones in the Temple, or when He began His ministry, when He was “about thirty.” There is not one place in the Scriptures where the faithful are instructed, or even were shown a slight hint to observe Yahushua’s birthday, or the birthday of any other famous biblical person, be it Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, Daniel, or the apostle Paul for that matter!

HaSatan the evil one is the great counterfeiter and the arch deceiver, who will go to any lengths to deceive and mislead Elohim’s people. He knows the old adage, “a miss is as good as a mile.” Did you know that the word for “sin” means “to miss the mark?” Just one tiny slash of a knife across the “smile” of the Mona Lisa would be enough to destroy the painting, just as only a “little” poison in an otherwise good meal can kill you. If people “miss the mark’ in observing purely pagan customs, with pagan, mystical symbols what it is all about, but call it “Christian,” the HaSatan is happy and satisfied, for he has duped the people into committing a great SIN against YHVH Elohim for they will have “missed the mark” of the pure worship of the Creator of all things by doing the opposite of what He has commanded, “Learn NOT the way of the heathen.”

For decades, I have been sharing how HaSatan has concealed the real truth about the Passover (Pesach) with the pagan substitution of a feast called “Easter,” or “Ishtar,” (a fertility goddess) a celebration of fecundity, procreation, and new life. I knew that eggs and rabbits symbolize fertility, and have nothing to do with Messiah’s resurrection. In addition, Halloween was first an all American evil children’s pagan event, but now it is sweeping the world, like so many Americanisms. It is obvious that Halloween is blatantly pagan, but is a Harvest celebration of sorts, featuring corn stalks, squashes and pumpkins, along with all the demonic symbolism, and obfuscates Elohim’s true fall harvest festival. Yes beloved, I am speaking about the “Feast of Tabernacles,” (Sukkot) which always falls on the 15th.day of the 7th.month of Elohim’s sacred calendar.

“The one who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.”

But we should also ask ourselves “what does Christmas obscure?”

So what is really hiding behind it all? At one time there were those who celebrated December 25, believe it or not, as “St. Michaelmas” day, claiming it was the day of the annunciation to Mary by the archangel, and therefore was “CONCEPTION day” the day Elohim “became flesh.” Now, was it?

Beloved in Yahushua THE Messiah, here are some important clues we have to understand and they must begin with the miraculous birth of Yochannan (John) the Baptist, who was Yahushua’s second cousin, and we know him to be the “voice in the wilderness” who was to announce the coming of the Messiah. Notice what the Scriptures states about this great event:

“In the time of Herod king of Judea there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abiyah; his wife Elizabeth was also a descendant of Aaron. Both of them were upright in the sight of Yahushua, observing all the Lord's commandments and regulations blamelessly. But they had no children, because Elizabeth was barren; and they were both well along in years. Once when Zechariah's division was on duty and he was serving as priest before Yahushua, he was chosen by lot, according to the custom of the priesthood, to go into the temple of the Lord and burn incense. And when the time for the burning of incense came, all the assembled worshipers were praying outside. Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing at the right side of the altar of incense. When Zechariah saw him, he was startled and was gripped with fear. But the angel said to him: ‘Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to give him the name John. He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice because of his birth, for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He is never to take wine or other fermented drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even from birth. Many of the people of Israel will he bring back to the Lord their Yahushua. And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.’ Zechariah asked the angel, ‘How can I be sure of this? I am an old man and my wife is well along in years. The angel answered, I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of Yahushua, and I have been sent to speak to you and to tell you this good news. And now you will be silent and not able to speak until the day this happens, because you did not believe my words, which will come true at their proper time.’ Meanwhile, the people were waiting for Zechariah and wondering why he stayed so long in the temple. When he came out, he could not speak to them. They realized he had seen a vision in the temple, for he kept making signs to them but remained unable to speak. When his time of service was completed, he returned home.” Luke 1:5-23. NIV.

Zacharias served during the “priestly division of Abiyah” or the eighth of the priestly courses, which is their assigned times of duties in the Temple (read 1 Chronicles 24:10). This took place twice each year. Each time of service, or “course” changed each week, commencing on the Sabbath. The reckoning commenced on the 22nd.day of Tishri, being “Shemini Atzereth” - the eighth day of the “Feast of Tabernacles,” also called the “Last Great Day.” We need to remember that these courses served together at the three great feasts. The dates for the twice-yearly ministrations of Abiyah fall from 12 to the 18 Kislev (covering most of our December), and from the 12th.to the 18th.of Sivan, being our June 13 to the 19. Therefore, the announcement about the CONCEPTION OF JOHN occurred somewhere between our June 13 to 19 in 5 BC!

Old Zacharias' ministry division course would have ended on the Sabbath, or our June 20, which would have been a Sabbath. Therefore, he could not have journeyed to his home on that day, but would have left on the 21st, the first day, our Sunday. He lived “in the hill country of Judaea,” around 30 miles away. This would have been a two day journey for an older man, and he would have been home around the Sivan 22, or our June 23. Therefore, the miraculous conception of John HAD TO TAKE PLACE somewhere on June 23 or 24 of 5 BC!

Amazingly in the United Kingdom, right to this day in England, The High Church of England, that means the Queens who is the Churches head, and others uphold the “Day of John the Baptist Nativity” on June the 24th! Now this is never meant to be the date of his BIRTH, but the date of his conception!

We all now from the Word that Elizabeth and Mary were first cousins. Therefore, John the Baptist and Yahushua were second cousins. Thus John was conceived round the 7th of Nisan, corresponding to our June 23rd or 24th, in 5 BC.

Six months later, on the first day of the Jewish month of Tebeth in the year we know as 5 BC (December 25), Yahushua was begotten. Then nine months later, when the shepherds were still “abiding in the fields by night,” Messiah was born in Bethlehem on the first day of the “Feast of Tabernacles!” (Sukkot) on 15 Tishri, or at least during this feast!

Bullinger's Companion Bible says,

“The fact of the birth of our Lord having been revealed to the shepherds by the Archangel Michael on the 15th.of Tishri, corresponding to September 29th, 4 BC, the FIRST DAY OF THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES, must have been known to believers in the Apostolic age. But the `mystery of iniquity' which was already working in Paul's day (2 Thessalonians 2:7) quickly enshrouded this and the other great fact of the day of the Lord's ‘begetting’ on the first day of the Jewish month Tebeth, corresponding to December 25, 5 BC, as well as other events connected with His sojourn on earth, in a rising mist of obscurity in which they have ever since been lost. The earliest allusion to December 25 as the date for the Nativity is found in the Stromata of Clement of Alexandria, about the beginning of the Third Century AD. That ‘Christmas’ was a pagan festival long before the time of our Lord is beyond doubt. In Egypt, Horus, the son of Isis (queen of heaven), was born about the time of the winter solstice. By the time of the early part of the fourth century AD, the real reason for observing Christmas as the date for the miraculous `begetting' of Matthew 1:18 and `the Word becoming flesh' of John 1:14 had been lost sight of...If, however, we realize that the centre of gravity, so to speak, of what we call the Incarnation is the Incarnation itself, the wondrous fact of the Divine ‘begetting’ when the Word became flesh’, and that this is to be associated with December 25, instead of March, as for 1,600 years Christendom has been led to believe, then ‘Christmas.’ will be seen in quite another light ... The announcement to the shepherds by the Archangel Michael marked the birth of our Lord. John 1:14 is read as though ‘the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us’ were one and the same thing, whereas, they are two clauses. The paragraph should read thus: ‘And the Word became flesh’ (Gr. Ho logos sarx egeneto.) ‘And tabernacled with [or among] us,’ [Gr. Kai eskenosen en hemin]. The word tabernacled here [preserved in the RV margin] receives beautiful significance from the knowledge that the ‘Lord of glory’ was ‘found in fashion as a man,’ and thus tabernacling in human flesh. And in turn it shows in equally beautiful significance that our Lord was born on the FIRST DAY OF THE GREAT JEWISH FEAST OF TABERNACLES, vis. The 15 of Tishri, corresponding to September 29, 4 BC [modern reckoning].

With the Babe having been born on the First day of the Feast, the circumcision of our Lord took place therefore on the eighth day, the last day of the Feast, which is also known as ‘The Great Day of the Feast,’ which is also mentioned in John 7:37, as this was an important day for our Lord!

“On the eighth day, when it was time to circumcise him, He was named Yahoshua, the name the angel had given Him before He had been conceived. When the time of their purification according to the Law of Moses had been completed, Joseph and Mary took Him to Jerusalem to present him to YHVH (as it is written in the Law of YHVH, ‘Every firstborn male is to be consecrated to YHVH’), and to offer a sacrifice in keeping with what is said in the Law of the Lord: ‘a pair of doves or two young pigeons.’” Luke 2:21-24. NIV.

Yahushua THE Messiah is the central figure of all the annual Feasts and weekly Sabbath of YHVH Elohim, for Yahushua is the Passover Lamb, and He is the “living Bread” depicted by the unleavened bread of the “Days of Unleavened Bread” following the Passover. He is the FIRST of the “firstfruits” depicted by the “Feast of Sabbaths,” or the “Feast of the Firstfruits,” which was celebrated by counting until the 50th. (The word “Pentecost” is Greek for "fiftieth”) day following the wave sheaf offering during the Days of Unleavened Bread. Yahushua will come again soon as THE “King of kings and Lord of lords,” whose arrival is heralded by the blowing of the great trump of the archangel on the “Feast of Trumpets.” He is our “Atonement” pictured by the Yom Kippur” the “Day of Atonement.’” Yom in Hebrew means “covering” and we are covered by the shed blood of the Lamb of Elohim!

The feast of temporary booths, or kiosks, or “tabernacles,” portrays our total transitory nature; our impermanence on this earth during our short physical life span. In a shadowy type, it also looks forward to our eventual inheritance of our permanent, spirit body, when we inherit “the Kingdom of Elohim.

Notice this vital Scripture …

“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood (this means you and me, in our physical bodies) cannot inherit the Kingdom of Elohim; neither doth corruption inherit in-corruption. Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep [die: the Bible continually uses profound "sleep" as a type of death], but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on in-corruption, and this mortal must put on immortality" 1 Corinthians 15:50-53.

Read all of chapter 15 of 1st Corinthians. Shaul of Tarsus (Paul) explains how the physical body is to decay, but that, in the resurrection, a new spirit body is given to the dead in Messiah, or the living in Him, who are changed, in a “twinkling of an eye.”

Now back to John 7:37 …

“On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Yahushua stood and said in a loud voice, ‘If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.’ By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Yahushua had not yet been glorified.” NIV.

So now beloved we have looked at when our beloved Saviour was conceived and born. 1. He was conceived on December 25, 4 AD, 2. and He was born on the First day of “Sukkot,” the “Feast of Tabernacles” on 15 Tishri, 5 AD.

Should we observe birthdays? It was not a custom amongst the Hebrews to celebrate such an event, although it would be known the age of a person as it was counted, but there are no records of any real celebration. Our Saviour certainly did not desire to commence a new trend, which has turned into, almost a drunken money spending time of absolute madness. Did you realise if the entire world would dump Christmas, the world economy would collapse as half of it is reliant on your spending up BIG at Christmas time. Hey Big Spender, greed and madness awaits you!

Shalom in Messiah  - Yahushua.

May YHVH Elohim bless and keep you in the palm of His hand always, in Messiah Yahushua’s loving Name!

Yahushua said; “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the Prophets: They will all be taught by Elohim. Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from Him comes to Me. No one has seen the Father except the One who is from Elohim; only He has seen the Father. I tell you the truth he who believes has everlasting life.” Yochannan (John) 6:43-48.
